TLAXCALA, TLX.La Secretar\u00eda de Salud del Estado (SESA) confirm\u00f3 el fallecimiento de #Jos\u00e9EstebanCort\u00e9sTorres, Presidente Municipal de #Mazatecochco, por Covid-19, la madrugada de este viernes.
La dependencia di\u00f3 a conocer que el Alcalde Jos\u00e9 Esteban Cort\u00e9s ingres\u00f3 al Hospital General del Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (Issste), en la capital de Tlaxcala, por presentar fiebre y dificultad para respirar, donde se le realiz\u00f3 la prueba de Covid-19 y se envi\u00f3 al Laboratorio Estatal de Salud P\u00fablica, que confirm\u00f3 el resultado positivo.
De acuerdo con el reporte m\u00e9dico, el Presidente Municipal recibi\u00f3 la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica correspondiente en el nosocomio del Issste; sin embargo, su estado de salud se complic\u00f3 y falleci\u00f3 durante la madrugada en esta instituci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica.
Tras confirmar el deceso, las \u00e1reas de epidemiolog\u00eda de la SESA e Issste activaron los protocolos de sanidad para iniciar el seguimiento y b\u00fasqueda intencionada de las personas que estuvieron en contacto con el mun\u00edcipe y descartar posibles contagios.
